Angry Danish iPhone fans threatens to let the iFists do the talking
Just read at Dorte Toft's blog (which you have to follow if you understand Danish and like techology :-)) that employees in Telia here in Denmark are getting threatened.
Yes, threatened. As in »I'll beat you up«. That's what the head of PR here in Denmark is saying in Danish podcast KommunikationsCast. Both he and other Telia employees have been threatened, and some people has told him, that they know where he lives.
The reason for the threatening? The pricing scheme that Telia has chosen for the Apple iPhone in the Danish market. Admitted, it is expensive but how do people imagine dropping the cost by punching people?
I guess it shows that the iPhone is so much more to some people than just a phone. Maybe a little to much?

While most iPhone owners could not wait to try out their pricey new gadgets, a few raced to break them apart.
The dismantled - and in some cases, permanently busted - iPhones revealed one of Apple's closely guarded secrets: The names of the companies that supplied the chips and other electronic components for the highly anticipated device.

Get Safari's features in Firefox
Instead of switching to Safari, you can get the best features in Safari in your Firefox. Just follow this guide at the Lifehacker blog.
One of the tips is the combined address bar and loader, which I have previously mentioned.

Safari is slower than both Internet Explorer and Firefox at AJAX on Windows
As you may know, Apple has released their own Safari browser in a Windows version, probably hoping to gain some market share. To make the sell, Apple has been telling people, that Safari could be as fast as twice the speed of Internet Explorer and 1.5 times faster than Firefox at rendering HTML and JavaScript.
However, Wired Magazine has done some benchmarking which reveals that Safari is slower than both Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox at renderering AJAX — which is, in part, HTML and yes, JavaScript.
Great PR, right?

Vista satire
If you're a Mac person (I'm not) and can understand Danish (I can) then you might appreciate this joke cartoon from Engineering Weekly.
Basically, the guy standing up is saying: »I think it's working now. But isn't it just a poor copy of Apple's Dashboard?«
And the guy on the floor says: »It just needed more RAM«.
I think this is the way a lot of people look at Vista. A Mac look-a-like who needs tons of memory. At least the folks I've talked to. So much for the "wow"…

It's here: The iPhone
At long last, Apple fans rejoice.
Apple (now named Apple Inc. instead of Apple Computers) has launched the iPhone.
The phone automatically synchs your media — movies, music, photos — through Apple's iTunes Music Store. The device also synchs e-mail content, Web bookmarks and nearly any type of digital content stored on your computer.
"It's just like an iPod," Jobs said, "charge and synch."
The phones, which will operate exclusively on AT&T Inc.'s Cingular wireless network, will start shipping in June. A 4-gigabyte model will cost $499, while an 8-gigabyte iPhone will be $599, Jobs said.
IPhone is less than a half-inch thin — less than almost any phone on the market today. It comes with a 2-megapixel digital camera built into the back, as well as a slot for headphones and a SIM card.
Engadget also has a huge post on Steve Jobs' keynote.
Read what the blogosphere is saying about the iPhone (Google blogsearch).
Apparently the phone will be available in the US in June and in Denmark in the 4th quarter of 2007. Both dates indicate quite a long span of time, before the iPhone gets out. A lot of stuff can happen in the months to come…very exciting!
Update 1: Also be sure to check out Apple's product site about the iPod.
