Right now I'm testing the live CD version of open source operating system Ubuntu in the new 7.04 (Feisty Fawn) beta.

I haven't had the time to test it thoroughly enough — but so far it looks nice… new features and accessories, sweet :-)

In case you don't know what a "live CD" is, it means that I can test the operating system without installing it. You just need to do these three things:

• Make sure, that your computer boots from the CD-ROM drive before the hard drive, this can be done in the BIOS — and if there's no CD in the drive it'll boot normally
• Download the operating system and burn it to a CD
• Place the CD in your CD-ROM drive and reboot the computer

This doesn't affect your computer in ANY way — it's a risk free opportunity to test Linux :D
